Mistborn were created when Rashek condensed the power of Preservation into the metal Larsium which he and a few of his closest friends and allies ingested. The Allomancy potential became diluted over time, and Mistborn of subsequent generations were progressively weaker. Eventually Mistings who could only burn one Allomantic metal started being born. |
