Kelsier - Mistborn: The Final Empire
Mistborn are Allomancers who are able to gain power from all Allomantic metals, and are some of the most powerful characters in the Mistborn series.
Creation of Mistborn[]
Mistborn were created when Rashek condensed the power of Preservation into the metal Lerasium which he and a few kings he had bribed in exchange for obedience, granting them Allomantic powers. However, potential for Allomantic power became diluted as Allomancers passed their powers on to their children, and Mistborn of subsequent generations became progressively weaker as a result. More commonly, there are those who can only burn one of the sixteen of the Allomantic metals. These people are called Mistings.
